Ipswich City Council Buys Rapid Spray Equipment

When Ipswich City Council needed to improve their range of Spray Equipment for their many beautiful Parks and Gardens, DJ’s Electric Motor and Pump Centre was able to supply a range of Rapid Spray Australia units that met their requirement exactly.

This shows the Rapid Spray Marshall Plus Sprayer unit mounted on an UTV. The Marshal Plus is built for purpose – save valued space in your UTV while still maintaining high spraying performance. Twenty one of these were supplied. They have a 12volt pump producing either 8 or 15 litres per minute.

Check out the Spot Ranger video here. They are trailer mounted units.

DJ’s Electric Motor and Pump Centre also supplied three Rapid Spray Fieldlink Pro units which are tractor mounted and three point linkage powered units with boom sprays. They have a 400 litre tank.

As you can see, we can supply all the spray equipment you need, whether it be commercial units for farm, oval or park or small handheld units for the home garden. If you want quality spray equipment come and see us or check out these pages on our website.

Weed Problems

After the recent rains, I have had a profusion of weeds sprouting. While mechanical removal is probably the best way of weed removal, sometimes you need to use garden chemicals to deal with the problem. I use them as required to deal with weeds that are not easy to physically remove.

Glypho 360 Green is an indiscriminate weedkiller and is used where you want to kill off all the weeds in an area, for example weeds and grasses that are coming up through mulch or under fences.

The Ravage or Dicamba is a selective weedkiller and is particularly useful in tackling broadleaf weeds in lawns.

If used carefully, these garden sprays are safe to use. We have some safety directions down the bottom of the page. Also remember not to spray when it is windy as some of the spray may drift onto desirable plants.

Call us if you need more helpful information on these products.

Glypho weed spray

Low-toxic aquatic, water-soluble herbicide for non-selective control of many annual and perennial weeds in certain situations as shown in the directions for use table.

Green is a highly concentrated weed killer used to kill all unwanted common weeds and grasses anywhere in the home garden. Glyphosate Green 360 – unlike Ravage, is not selective so may kill plants etc if they are sprayed. Glyphosate Green 360 is also effective in killing woody weeds.

It is available in 1litre,5 litre and 20 litre packs

Ravage Dicamba MCPA

Got a problem with broadleaf weeds in your lawn. The answer is the tried and tested Ravage.

Ravage is sometimes known as Dicamba. It is a selective weedkiller meaning it doesn’t affect your lawn grasses, only the broadleaf weeds.
